Hello,
I ask me if there is a way to input "planned work" ?
The idea is to have (in french, sorry, I don't know the english term) "un planning estimatif de charge".
With theses inputs, I can have a more precise view of the future charge of my team on the month (or next month)
For the moment, I input in advance real work allocation but it is not a good thing : the reports in Projeqtor considers theses inputs like real work (it's normal 🙂 ) and my reports are also not right 🙁
Is what I ask for possible ? If yes, could you give me some clues ? 😉
Regards,
Damien

it is not possible to do manual planning because, on the one hand, it is useless and cumbersome. Often this type allows work overloaded (sometimes blithely) that we refuse to do. Projeqtor has many planning modes that meet most needs while respecting the real capacity and availability of your resources.
Hello,
I wake up this message because I found other answers about this in your Blog and I don't want to launch a new thread.
I absolutely agree with you, but let me please only justify this request which also comes from me.
When you calculate Earned Value for a Project (which is the first KPI), you need:
Planned work PV at a certain date, in measure units (days, hrs or whatever)
Actual costs AC in the same date , in money (not the real work, the real costs. It's different)
Real work done, in the same date.(in the same unit of measure than PV)
In Projeqtor you can get the last two. You instead can't get how many time a resource should have had to consume at that date (the planned work). The Gantt only shows the time within the resource should be employed, not a specific charge of hrs per each day. This is in my opinion what the request asks for.

Lorenzo

Yes you can.
It is what Baselines stand for.
Try and save project baseline, and few time later use report "S-curve" chart.
Hello Babynus,
thanks a lot for your info. Very useful!
From the other side now it's clear for me which kind of feature could be also useful. I will open a new thread for this, just to have some hint from you.
Thank again and regards,
Lorenzo
