I installed projector and I'm trying to login for the first time, with admin / admin and it's been well over 20 minutes now and I still have a pin wheel, I've tried "reinstalling' it 3 times and it's not working still.
Send the log file.
In directory ../projeqtor/files/logs
I guess it's actually still initializing, it's just slow as a wet whistle, as I keep seeing:

It's on a VERY high powered server, so it's not a resource issue. I'll just keep waiting.

Your server is very slow.
300 ms to insert a single line...
It should be at least 10 times faster with a small dimensioned server and 100 times faster with correct server.
Projeqtor is slow, not my server, I run MANY other programs and they run fast and smooth. In either case I don't really care as I got past the problem that was holding me up, from the look of Projeqtor I'm pretty sure we'll be sticking with Jira, but I'll let some other employees check it out.

My remark for slow server was just about response time of MySql updates. ProjeQtOr application (performance of code) was not involved yet during the logged updates...
Maybe is was temporary slow response time due to external load of server.
By the way, Jira is e great Ticketing tool, but :
1) it's not as free as ProjeQtOr (free to use and to upgrade)
2) it is much less complete as it is just managing tickets
But if this fits your need, it is a very good tool 😉
