Hello,
I am looking for how to organize and track the cash flow to the vendor .
For example, for the below tasks
10% advance for the supply of materials ph-1 - $5000/- Planned date - 30th March
30% for the supply of materials for Ph-1 - $8000 , Planned date - 30th April
10% advance for the supply of materials ph-1 - $5000/- Planned date - 15th April
These activites are defined in planning. But how to specify the cost details. Further based on the above example, I should pay to the vendor in March - $5000, April - $13000.
Please advise how to create cash flow table whist defining the various tasks in Planning.
Regards,
Kishore
Hello
You can create terms in the expense financial module. I invite you to read the manual on this part.
The project type must be suitable for processing terms dates. For example, on a project type fixed price.
In the provider invoices you have a section that processes terms.
Click on the + and you will be able to set the percentages to be invoiced, as well as the dates of the total amount.
Thanks for the response.
But I would like to link the dates based on the planned dates instead of manually entering the dates. Similarly while monitoring if the dates are skipped, payment would also be delayed.
How to link the planned dates of task / milestones to the payment dates?
No, we can't do that right now, but you can contact us for possible sponsorship
Hi,
As you suggested I have created provider order and terms. Through terms, orders, invoices, multiple payment schedule can be captured. But when we see the report under COST or FINANCIAL, the line items in the terms are not displayed.
In the resource cost repoort, A cross-tab report comprising the project name, Activity name and cost for each month is nicely available.
But for the expense report, only Project name is displayed and further only the total expense amount is mentioned. As per your example, the report shows only $18000 for Server, whereas multiple terms ($5000 , date1; $13000 - date2) is not visible.
Please let me know how to get the crosstab report (Cash flow report) based on the multiple payment terms.
Thanks....
Hi,
In your example, the report only displays $18,000 for the server, while the multiple conditions ($5,000, date 1; $13,000, date 2) are not visible.
It generally makes sense not to mix apples and oranges; the itemized details correspond to the invoice details.
The terms dates are simply a division of this amount for payment. Therefore, they will not appear on a cost or expense report, but on a terms schedule or payment report.
Could you tell me how to obtain the pivot table (cash flow report) based on the different payment terms?
Very simple, contact us and request a quote to create your report perfectly! ![]()
Even the expense details description are also not visible in the report. Since the expense details are not visible, we used terms.
