Question the admin password is not working while it under windows but it works fine for Linux. Is there a possible glitch in the code?

No, code works as fine on all OS.
Possibly your Windows install misses one extension (SSL crypto). Check log files (projeqtor and apache)
how do you change the admin password please?
On login scree, you have possbility to change your passwork, same on user profile pop-up.
You can also reset password for any user on user screen.
