Can I disable email notifications that are set for me by an admin in some of my control panel, that will essentialy override the admin setting?
Lucas
Hi,
No, you cannot.
All what can be done is have the admin enable the "don't receive team mails" for you. This way, you will not receive email sent to "team". But you will still receive email that will specifically be sent to you (for instance email to responsible when you are the responsible).
If you want no email, you must ask the admin to remove you email in you user description.
Regards.
I see, thanks.
So just to make it clear, I as a user cannot do it, but if I ask an admin he can remove just my email from my profile, and I won't get email notifications (obviously because my email address will be blank)?
Can't I remove my email on my own from my account?

Yes, exactly !

No, you cannot.
Thanks a lot. Topic can be closed now 🙂
Hi Lucas,
may be a quick solution, which enables you to switch on and off receipt of mails (of projeqtor): use automatic rules & alert function of your mail-client. Then you are able to easily switch by yourself.
Klaus
Thanks but in the end I've settled for changing the email address which in essence disabled all notifications. Not a perfect solution, as the system itself should have some masterswitch for disabling email notifications and still leave email address there for other purposes, but better that than nothing.
