What kind of link would you expect ?

Generic link ?

For information, document is already linked to product, but with direct reference (a document must belong to project or product)

I talk about generic link. A document belongs to a projet or product, but when you go on product or version screen, you can't see such links. It would be great to tell "I go to product version screen and I see all links to applicable documents".
Don't you think so ?

You can also go to document list and select filter to limit to documents of your product Product.
Isn't it the same ?

For me it is the same. My post follows question from my company users : Why is it different than other screens ?

It is because Products and Versions are not linkable, like most other items.
This is because Product and versions are environmental data, such as resource, customer, team.
You cannot even link items to these environmental data.

When it is interesting to have some link to them, there are specific select lists, with a dedicated meaning.
- Product / Version on tickets and activities, as origin version or target version
- Resource on most items, as responsible
