I have seen many asked questions and answers on holidays management. The planning can be done by any resource by adding a real work on an activity in an administrative project.
but what about:
- requesting a holiday and getting the approval before it is planned as real work?
- cancelling a planned holiday before its due time? (can we cancel a real work?)

ProjeQtOr is not an ERP, it is a project management tool.
So you can record holidays to take them into account for resource availability, but it in not an adminsitrative tool to deploy your entreprise processes.

Just remove the real work...
