[#9308]

good day everyone,
currently, it is only possible to record time for the activities. why not for actions linked to activities ?  I would be interested in having a detail time spent structure under the activity.
please advise and let me know if there is anyway to have that functionality ?

Because it is the différence between Activities, Actions and Tickets.
The three could be called Tasks.
In most tools you just cannot record time spend on "tasks".
In projector :
 - Activites are planned and you can record time spent.
 - Tickets are not planned but you can record time spent.
 - Actions are not planned and you cannot record time spent.

Actions are just "todo lists"

Hi
A passing idea that could get around the problem.
Why not copy your actions into activities in a particular type, "action" for example, and link the two elements?
This would allow you to allocate the time spent on it and consolidate the work load consumed only on this type of activity!

Arkanje,
Thanks for the additionnal insight, it's an option indeed. Though I am not sure this solves fully my issue. End goal is to manage an action Kanban which with your option needs to be with activities and then I have no difference between the "activities-activities" and the "activities-actions".

It is possible to create an advanced filter (which you can save) in the kanban which will only show you the activity-actions.
