I am trying to migrate/import few thousands of projects from our proprietary solution written in MS Access.
Each project definition which have multiline strings in Description, Objectives and similar fields cannot be imported, it generates ERROR : An error occurred on timestamp red error box.
If I remove all new line characters, I am able to import one by obe project from excel file but not all at once.
Any idea how should I prepare my excel/csv import file to import all projects at once?
Text Fields that include special character (such as line breack) must be surrounded with double-quotes (")
and of course other souble quotes removed from the field.
That is, in this case, not the problem, all fields are exported properly into csv file.
Same issue is with excel and csv file.
After I updated to latest ProjeQtOr version 10.0.2, problem vanished and I am able to import same excel and/or csv files.
I just imported an excel file with more than 300 projects in one go with no issues but it took a lot of time, approximately 2 and a half hours.
I will continue to check it by importing other project related data but it looks like latest update solves it.
