Il m'est complètement impossible de démarrer Projeqtor sur un serveur free.
La page violette avec le logo du projet s'affiche puis j'ai une belle erreur 500 à l'ouverture de la page main.php.
Comme la littérature n'est pas trop abondante sur le sujet, je vous rassure :
- j'ai bien mis un fichier .htaccess ne contenant que la ligne php 1. Ce fichier est à la fois à la racine du site et dans le répertoire d'installation de Projeqtor, mais ça ne marche pas mieux qu'en le mettant dans un seul répertoire
- j'ai créé un dossier sessions, pas mieux
Histoire d'être certain que ce n'est pas mon téléchargement qui est corrompu, j'ai essayer de démarrer en local avec EasyPhp : tout va bien
Est-ce que quelqu'un saurait me donner une indication pour débloquer la solution ?

My first problem with Projeqtor is installing the software on a server hosted by Free.
After uploading files on the server, the purple page of Projector opens and then I've got an error page 500 when the main.php file try to open.
I already try :
- to put a .htaccess containing "Php 1" at the root level of the site and also in the directory where Projeqtor is installed => fail
- to create a directory labeled "sessions" => fail
To be sure that the software package is not corrupted, I try to start Projeqtor in local mode an it runs well...
So if someone could give me an idea, it would be great !

Please check access rights to the files you uploaded to free.
By default, it may be readonly, or even limited to current user : and this is not the user running PHP, as it is a histed service.
So check that all files and directories are RW for all users (777).
It could be that :
- files are in 644
- but I can't change the rights on the free server, so I can't try the solution...

The workaround you're suggesting doesn't work because since 2012 Free disabled the child command.
The problem is that Projeqtor needs version 5.2 of PHP and it's not available on Free !
So I have to find and older version of Projeqtor... could you tel me what release Is the good one ?
