I've been exploring the software for only a little over a day (I am familiar with other similar ones, e.g. Odoo, ]po[, openproject, erpnext) so I hope this isn't too premature to ask. I've searched with search engines, the manual & index, and here in the forum for things like "daily work description text" and found no luck. I have completed the 'checklist' on the home page and have several Users, Contacts, Projects, Activities, and Timesheet entries already.
Question:
As Activities are often many days long, is there a way of (say at the end of the day) entering a Resource's (e.g. employee's) time *along with* a short textual description of what was done that day?
It seems the Diary is generated ("planning driven"), Notes are germane for the length of the task, and I don't think Tickets are appropriate. I have not found anything by either logging in with roles of Admin or Project Manager.
(quite ugly):
I could add a note to the Activity, and then change it every day so that a record is kept in the Change History...
I could have each Activity only last a day and then the Description field would be applicable only for that day...

either enter notes on activity.
or enter comment on Timesheet (with possibility to save as note)
I am looking for the timesheet but its not listed in the menu default. Where can I find the plugin for it please? I need to be able to have the employees time logged that they started and ended each day they work.
Timesheet is available by default.
It is called "Timesheet" on V7.1, was called "Real Work Allocation" on Previous versions.

The button is available for all.
Just check in habilitations that you did not "hide" the icon.
