In our scenario, cost will be in one currency and revenue will be in another currency. Is it possible to handle the different items (cost and revenue) with different currencies and different projects with different currencies?

No;
Projeqtor is mono currency.
Multi currency is a great mess to deal with, mainly in our hierachical projects structure and may only be managed by ERPs.
