This feature from changelog could interest me, but I haven't found what exactly it means :#6908Direct update status of document
Is it possible to update a document's status without editing the document version ? If so, how ?

Yes, on V10.3 it is now possible to edit the document status...
no more need to open the version pop-up to edit it.
