[#1818]

Hello,
I'm wondering if it is possible for the entire project timeline to shift to the left or right as appropriate when planned tasks are completed ahead of or behind schedule.
Thank you.

Recalculating planning will do this.

I am having difficulty having a follow on phase of a project shifting when a predecessor milestone is reached. Re-Calculating does not shift the project even though the milestone is 'done'. Am I missing a requirement? Please advise.

"Reach" of milestone is not enough : it could be late (delayed).
You must set it to "done".
Then real end date will be automatically set and planning will take it into account.

I have a three phase project ongoing with up to 30 dependent tasks (activities) per phase. I have the project built so that the phases have completion milestones as predecessors to follow on phases. Even though all activities and the completion milestone have been set as done, the follow on phases have not/will not shift (left) to the earliest available date for earliest project completion upon recalculating planning. What am I missing? Please advise.

Thanks for screen shots.
Clear it seems strange.

1) Did you re-run the planning calculation ?
2) Could you check dependencies predecesors of task 2.7 : is there a dependency with some delay ?
