Hi,
I have a question about the 'Reports'.
For example, I choose 'planning' & 'colored monthly resource planning' and press 'show report' button.
The querying animation (it is like a flower, gif file?) seems to run forever w/o timeout.
I don't know whether the output result is empty or the system hangs at the database query.
No message output on the page.
I tried IE 7 (7.0.5730.11) and firefox (3.6.13), the results are the same.
Please help.

Can you set debugLevel to 4 (in parameters.php file), run again and send me the log file ?

Hi,
The GD (graphic) library is not enabled on your PHP server, so you will not have graphic presentations for reports.
This does not explain the bug, because :
- the case is planned and should not lead to an error
- the report who are testing don't have graphics.

BTW, I can see gantt planning in reports page. Doesn't it need GD library?

Hi,
Enabling GD library needs to administrate the PHP server.
If it is installed and disabled, you just have to change the php.ini configuration.
For instance, running EasyPHP opn Windows, the needed extension is :
extension=php_gd2.dll
(commenting this line disables GD Library)
If the library is not installed at all, get it at http://www.libgd.org/Main_Page .
Gantt planning report does not need GD Library. It pure HTML.
Are you still blocked with reports printing ?

After I installed php-gd, there's no running flower forever.
Though I got no graph output, it says 'no data...'.
I don't know what these report options mean.
Would you put the description in manual too?

Hi,
Happy to read you can now run reports.
Of course, to produce data in the reports, you must have data in the database.
The parameters are mostly simple.
For instance, if you run the "weekly work", you'll see the real work entered for the week. If there is no real work input for this week, you will get the "no data" message. You'll be more likely to have things displayed with "yearly" or "global" reports than with "weekly" reports.
Just notice that "work" reports stand for "real work" reports, and "planning" will display "real" and "planned" data.
No description of each report exists in the manual.
