[#239]

I would like to use Project'Or RIA for some of our projects but I need to customize for each project. Such customization should not effect other projects. How can I do it? gopi

All depends what you really need to customise for each project.
Could you give precisions ?

Anyway, the best way to have all parameters specific to each project is to set one database per project...

Thank you for the prompt answer. I am not sure, but we will need to customize virtually all the parameters. Activity workflow and permissions. I think it will simpler for us to follow your advise and have different databases for each type of project. Can different data bases share users and team members? gopi

No, you cannot "share" resources.
But it's easy to import data, for instance from a reference csv file.
(it will also be possible to export in V1.9)
Then just adapt capacity and / on affectation rate to be sure to reserve some shared reources for some projects.

Regards.

Thank you once again. I think we will do an experiment and see how that will work. I am embarassed that I could not find the online manual, even though in the tips and tricks section of forum it is mentioned. Can you advise how to get at the manual? gopi

- on the demo or track database, just hit [F1]
- on the download page (ppt format)
