Hello,
I don't know if a single instance of Projeqtor is able to manage the data of several companies. I mean data from a company (resources, projects, activites, ...) can only be viewed by members of this company.

ProjeQtOr manages Organization and bring some parameters to restrict visibility of resources depending on Organization.

would it not be easier to install multiple instances, one per company?

You can have different instances, but they will not communicate with each other.
For instance, Resource sharing will be impossible.
