I am trying to find a way to change the text used in the planning drop down field in the Activities. At the moment the text used confuses our users, so I want to change the actual text so that we can understand what each value really means for us.
I have not been able to find anywhere where I can change the wording for each value in the planning drop down box. Can you please tell me where or how to do this?
Which drop down do you mean exactly ?
(maybe a print screen could help)

These are "planning modes".
These are parameters that are "translated" and cannot be changed by default through a screen.
Fortunately, V5.1 come with new plug-in feature, and one of the first plug-in available give the possibility to change any translated caption.
You'll then be able to change values for labelCodes : PlanningModeALAP, PlanningModeASAP, PlanningModeFIXED, PlanningModeFLOAT, PlanningModeFULL, PlanningModeREGUL, PlanningModeFDUR, PlanningModeHALF, PlanningModeQUART, PlanningModeSTART
