Default setting for profile "Project Member" gives access to read and update Activities, read, create and udate tickets, and so on for many other screens.

I am wandering why Project member cannot see Project details by default? I don't see any reason for that especially because Project carries a lot of data needed by Project member.

Because the Project detail is mostly for the project leader.
It should detail of work and costs for the project, postly should not be visible to the project member that will mostly work on Activities or Tickets of the project..

I understand that approach but cannot agree with all or nothing principle.
The  Project record has a lot of data important to and usable by any project member. It will be nice to have ability to separate general Project data which can be visible to all Project members from other financial and work distribution data.

Anyway, by giving propere right to Project Member profile I achived what I want.

That's why projeqtor has so many configurable things, everyone hasn't the same approch of what should be shared with members.

It will be nice to have ability to separate general Project data which can be visible to all Project members from other financial and work distribution data

Standard version gives the possibility to hide some strategic data (work and costs) depending on Data.
We also propose the "Screen customisation plugin" that allows you to hide fields depending on profile.
