[#8741]

Hi all,
We've been using ProjeQtOr a lot to host information on all our projects. Besides the description of the projects we also register information about phases/tasks and their progress. For all projects we also keep record on the financial information from providers and clients.
My question is related to the following: each start of the year we still have projects that are ongoing and have not been fully invoiced yet. I mean, we have projects partially invoiced in the previous year. We need to keep these projects open in ProjeQtOr until they're completed and fully invoiced but for this we have been doing a daunting task after the end of a calendar year that is copying each project to the current year, associate it to the left revenue (i.e. total revenue of the project minus the amount invoiced in the previous year) and go task by task and fulfill the information on the dates and results from the original project.
The question is: is there any other way for projects that are ongoing for more than a year and have financial information (clients/providers invoices) from previous years to be moved to the current year only with the revenue that has not yet been invoiced and with no financial information from previous years, keeping all other information from tasks such description, results and dates?
Thanks in advance!

I don't see the issue if you correcly manage financial data in financial items. As all items have datres, they can be allocated to given year.
I guess it's just your specific way to manage projects (on project per year) that sets the issue.

Thank you for your reply!
I understand your suggestion but doing that way, I mean, having projects partially invoiced in progress from one year to the other doesn't allow me to have the information on the left revenue.
I looked for that item in the columns to be displayed but although I found items such as "left cost" or "left expenses" there is no "left revenue". Is it possible to have this information?
Thank you in advance!

No.
Possibly you can use organization to have yearly budget.
I don't know if this fits your need.
