I can't automate a stock notification
I created actions with different starting dates
I created notification rules for a reminder every year over 5 years
The rules apply badly because each time it notifies me of all the actions on each rule?
How do the notification rules work?
You defined notification "Every year", with 3 notifications before, so you are notified 3 years before...
Hello I agree with you, an annual rule and a notification 3 years before the initial date.
So why does the notification rule include my 5 actions instead of just one?
the initial date of my 5 actions are all different and delayed by one year.
I should have had one action per notification rules and not 5 actions per rule. your opinion please thank you
If you request for "every year" and "number of times before = 3, you will get 2 notifications if the target date is in 1 year (2 first reminders already passed).
This may explain number of notifications.
I wanted to be notified only once a year for each action over 5 years from the initial date.
That's why I created 5 rules per year by only asking to notify
1 year before for the 4 years of contract
2 years for the 3-year contract
3 years for the 2-year contract
4 years for the first years
and
be notified every 3 months only the 1st year from the initial date.
how can i configure notifications to do this?

You should just have a notification defined to a target date, yearly, with "repeat 5 times before"
Then the object to get notified should havr target date in 5 years.
