I have got one specific requirement regarding Reports. While the built-in reports are good, what I need is a "complete dump of all relevant fields pertaining to a ticket and to an activity and to a project". This should be in one single excel sheet -- may be separate sheets for ticket/ activity/ project. Any help (with ready report like this or a SQL query to do this) is highly appreciated.

You can get this in CSV formtat, that you can easily copy in different sheets of same xls file.
But no export exists as you wish.
