I would like to know if it is possible to have different status for milestones and projects.
Means:
Status A1, A2, A3 for projects
Status B1, B2, B3 for milestones
I don't see any possibility to remove status in workflow edition.

Yes it is possible.
(except for first status which is always "recorded")
In the workflow screen you will have all available status.
You just have to define a workflow (possible changes between status) that leads to some status, dedicated to projects, and define another workflow that leads to other status, dedicated to milstones.
Then in the project types you select first workflow and in the milestones types you select other workflow.
That's all.

This is why I had an issue: I removed the status "recorded", and the first status of projects was not the same of the one for milestones.
I will create a common one.
