Hello,
Can someone tell me why we can't use the project filter in the TIMESHEET page? Is this voluntary or an unresolved bug?
Is there a recommended workflow that we did not figure out yet?
Can this be resolved with one of the PLUGINS?

We have a multitude of projects and tasks, and we are trying to simplify the workflow for our team. Not being able to filter projects in TIMESHEET makes data input very cumbersome and time consuming.

Thanks!

(We currently use V10.1.4 , but I tried on the 10.3 demo version and it is the same result.)

It is designed this may.
When you enter a timesheet, you need to see all lines you are assigned to, to be sure that the total is correct.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I understand it was probably debated amongst the development team and came with the decision to deactivate the filtering for good reasons.

But this is really not what I was hoping to read.

We are a very small multi-task team ( 5 people ) with a fairly large number of small interlocking development projects that we work on as group effort over a fairly long period.

Our team also includes two Dyslexic and one ADHd. So this is a real problem to us.
Not having the ability to display a reduced number of the projects we are working on a given period , makes life quite a bit more difficult for us.

Can you suggest a solution or work around or method to conquer this limitation, or does this mean we'll just have to eat it and waste energy searching for activities every time we add work time?

Thanks for your help.

You can collapse all projects level, then open only project you want to input.
You can also reduce list of activities with existing options : hide not started, hide done, ...

The projects and activities I select by collapsing, does not stay get memorized by the system when  I leave timesheet.  It means I have to repeat the selection every time I return to Timesheet..  Is there a setting I can activate to return to my last selection when I return to Timesheet?  It would solve my problem.

Thanks

Is it a good idea to open a ticket for this so we can more easily follow the progress?
Thanks
