I am trying to change the Validated End Date of an activity I have and each time I change the date I receive this error.
Technical issue occured possibly due to bad network connection.
Please try again.
If issue persists, please contact your administrator.

(detailed error is reported in log file)
When I look at the log, it does not saying anything about the related activity or error.
Please post log file (maybe we'll find some info)
Also post Apache error log file.
Also post content of browser console, it may contain errors.
I have attached the log file from ProjeQtor for you.
Can you kindly assist me with the directions of where to find and download the Apache Log File.
And We are currently using Google Chrome, Windows Version 69.0.3497.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)
First, migrate to V7.1.5 (always use last patch level)
Then clean browser cache
Retry.
Will do this now and see if the problem corrected itself.
Hi, I updated the database and software to version 7.1.4 and the problem mentioned earlier is still happening.
Here is the new log from today.
did you clean your browser cache ?
I cannot explain but I fixed this issue. I found that there a few notes on the activity that had no user name attach to it and in the database these notes were showing a value of 0 in the idle column.
I correct the user id manually and changed the values to 1 and the problem was fixed.
I am not sure what the idle column does but this seemed to fix the problem.
Value of idle to 1 leads to non display of note.
It should be interesting to understand how you got notes without user.
Maybe if you could look at history of element, you could check when the note was saved and what may have occured.
We would be gratefull to have a clue to identify source of issue.
Will do, however can you explain when you say
Maybe if you could look at history of element, you could check when the note was saved and what may have occured.
Do you mean in the Database? If YES, what is the name of the table/column
If you mean somewhere else, please advise of its exact location.
No, I mean acces item history through the application.
In user parameters, check parameter "show history"
If you select YES, you'll always see history at bottom of description.
If you select "ON REQUEST", you'll have a button (hourglass icon) to access to history in pop-up mode (my advise)
I did what you said and the history of the activity shows the date and times to be correct and does not show any errors. It seems correct the History Log of the activity. The only thing is that I did find that the notes where I had to change the idle value, they do not have a username in the username column. They are blank in this cell for those notes.
Could this have been the problem?
The issue is the blank user name (in fact idUser in the table)
Setting idle to 1 just stops displaying the note... so remove the display issue, but storage issue still exists.
The thing is that in the db there is a value for IDUser and the id value seems to linked correctly to a user. So what else could be the problem or what else can i check
It's now doing the same thing to other activities. Can you help me please. What I thought was the error does not seem to apply to some other activities.
Please post screenshot
I did one thing better. I did a quick video recording of the issue so you can see it.
The thing is it doesn't do it to all activities. Only to a few activities.
The video has been zipped and is an mp4 format.
The file is to big to upload. So here is the a link to dropbox to view it.

OK,
So you just try and change status, and get errror message.
No error in log file.
Can you check for errors in Browser console ? [F12]
Can you also check for errors in Apache error log file ?
No Errors in F12 of the browser or in the Apache.
After more investigating I think i found the problem. It was a modSecurity on our server that I whitelisted and it seems to be working now.
Let's hope this was the problem., because it would only do it to some activities not all.
