Hi !
Is there a procedure to update ?
Thx
Hi kiffcool,
more or less "yes and no". It is as simple as it could be.
1. Backup your data.
2. Decompress downloaded projectorria file and copy over existing installation.
3. Refresh login window
4. Logon as ADMIN user.
5. Database will be automatically upgraded.
6. Logon as your standard user.
From my experience, it is good, if all users logout, refreshes login window after upgrade and then login again.

OK, i'll try to do that 😉
Thx
Hello Babynus,
Need to clarify the procedure for upgrading to a new version of Project'or RIA:
There are some points on how to update that are not clear for everyone:
- After decompressing the file "projectorriaV2.2.1.zip", you get a folder named "projectorriaV2.2.1" containing a subfolder named "projectorria".
- Question 1: For the automatic update, which is the folder to "copy": "projectorriaV2.2.1" or the subfolder "projectorria"?
- Question 2: Where should I copy the unzipped folder?
For example, if my application is in the following location:
E: xampp177 htdocs my_own_application
- Question 3: My application runs under a different name. I renamed the folder "projectorria" for my own needs. For the automatic update, it is also necessary to rename the directory "copied" containing source files of the new version?
PS: The user manual does not describe precisely the aspects above.
Cordially
Question 1: For the automatic update, which is the folder to "copy": "projectorriaV2.2.1" or the subfolder "projectorria"?
sub-folders of projectorria.
Question 2: Where should I copy the unzipped folder?

E: xampp177 htdocs my_own_application
you should copy all subfolders of projectoria to your own main directory (my_own_application).
An easy way to do it is to rename projectorria to my_own_application (what you should have done on first installation  ) and copy to overwrite your my_own_application.
Don't replace one with the other : there are some existing files that should be kept:
- /tool.parametersLocation.php
- /files directory
My application runs under a different name. I renamed the folder "projectorria" for my own needs. For the automatic update, it is also necessary to rename the directory "copied" containing source files of the new version?
Yes, just do as you did on filst installation : you just have to overwrite existing files with new ones.
You parameters files will not be overwritten as they are not delivered...
