I have a team of 4 ressources. They manage 158 projects.
They have made the WBS with either fixed and floating milestones.
To proceed so In addition of the fixed delivery date, I've made a priority list for the "ASAP" projects.
So I now know the estimative delivery date of all the projects. It's GREAT.
But, with new weeks comes new projects.
Does ProjeQt'Or give a tool to "insert" a new project in the planning ?
Or more concrete how do I proceed to "insert" new projects with the best choice of the ressource ?
For the moment, I think that I must extract the floating milestone project list of each ressource and set the new project priority.
Then, I have to ask the ressource to run the planning with the new project to have the best calculated delivery date.
Have to do the same with all the ressource and choose the one with the best delivery date.
Is this solution the only one existing in ProjeQt'Or ?

No, there is not "best choice" proposition.
First because it is quite complex, but also because only Project Leader can know if a resource is able to execute a task.
We don't hav competency management so that you can specify the competency required for a task and then have proposition of competent resources.
Possibly, instead of changing resources, you can first have a look at availability reports to check whick resource has more "available" timeslots.

I will effectively choose the ressource for the competence he own. Sometimes it's hard because I have ressources with same knowing.
Instead of have a look on reports, because ProjeQt'Or fullfile the agenda of each ressource (they plan the projects with floating milestones in planning mode "ASAP") is there a simulated planning mode ?
A function to launch planning with a ressource to view the result and a button to transpose in the ressource planning if simulation accepted.
