Is posible include on the popup windows to create the clone environment a list with all projects, and then we can select the projects to include on the environment cloned.

It'ss posible or are planned can do it only with the selected projects?

Thanks

Hello,

we cannot do that, environment cloning its used for clone your actual projeqtor environment with all parameters and objects you have on this.
We have much constraint to clone only one project.

Hello,

In my opinion, it seems unskilful to plan ( with simulation) only some projects because on reality those projects will impact the others one. It is better to analyse that on simulation. That is why all projects are taken in consideration without selection.

What I am looking for is to have a complete photo of a project at a certain time (to have still photos of baselines that I need for CMMI level 3), and with the cloning of the environment, it seems like a great solution, but it would be better if it were only at the project level and not the entire environment. That is why requesting this function.

Your need is covered with baseline management.
Have a look at user manual.

Not sure the data cloning environment will be any help.
If you want a snapshot, youi want something that we not be updatable after copy.
This is not the case of data cloning environment that are designed for simultaion purpose, so data can be changed in Cloned environements.
Maybe a backup of your DB or snapshot of VM will do the same.

But, IMO, CMMI does not required to have a "snapshot" of all data.
It will require to be able to check how many items ware active at a given time to be able to produce indicators..
This can be easily done with history (at least more easily than trying to copy the envisonment)..

Hi,

In our procedures of CMMI we have since a baseline will be saved (with the requirements, risks, problems, activities, etc.) that can be consulted at any time to see the status of the process at a specific time in the project.

I have made some minor modifications to its environment cloning tool, and so if in the general project drop-down you have chosen all the projects, you make a cloning like the original one, if you have a selected project, you make a cloning of the selected project ( I have not been able to filter the copy by that project, so I had to delete the rest of the projects from the tables after copying everything), leaving this environment copy in read only in order to save a complete baseline of the project.

I hope you do not mind that you have made these changes and I send the files with changes in case you want to use them in the future.

Hi

Thanks for sharing your work.
Not sure we'll integrate it, as it is not DataCloning any more, it is "backup of a project".
