I have a document system, and when I am in a project I can attach a hyperlink to a document. When I do that it brings up that doument in my document system.
I just wanted to know if there is a way to have the attachment option when creating a document?

If I try and reformulate your request in projeqtor's terms,
you would like to be able to define new version of a document as an hyperlink instead of uploading a file.

i am also interested in such a functionalty, because we want to hold our files in SharePoint.
so it would be very useful to have only a link to the SharePoint document in projeqtor
