Peharps you had the idea but instead to use filter on the dashboard of the projets, i think it will be good to have a field more selector in place for filter by status.
We you manage a lot of projects with differents status (recorded, waiting for third party, In progress, Waiting for approval.....) for the same customer or the same type, it is difficult to have a simple view of project by status.
It is the same for tickets or demand or meeting. This filter can work for all items.
What do you think about this proposal ?

Instead to have several fields, i think it is better to have only a field based on the list of the status defined per the admin.
Because in your case, you only have the possibility to choice 1 on 3 values. If you use a list, you can have more possibilities use per type of project.

And you can select one ore several (what is not possible with a single list)
