Hello,
As Much as I understand that workload is not necessary for a milestone, as much as I think workload iwould be great for an action. 🙂
Is there a possibility to add this field in a future release (like tickets or activities) ?

Just use Tickets.
It is almost the only difference between Tickets an Actions : you czn input work on tickets.
