Hi,
there is missing something in link with the project combo box (upper left)...
because when an item is opened (in the window below) and when you trigger the combo box, there is no change in this item, even though you have filter on a project.
for example, you are on an item project and you use the combo box to go on another projet : the initial item project remain the same and it can be source of errors.(see screenshot)
I suggest that the using of the project combo box leads to a projects dashboard where you have above the gantt chart and below an item with all the elements contained in the project (as in the today's dashboard but clickable in order to reach the elements list).
best regards,
Chris
The Project Combo is called the Project Selector.
It is used to apply restriction to selected project and its sub-projects.
This means that when a project is selected, list of items is automatically restricted to items of that project, including its sub-projects.
yes, I know.
but at the moment you choose a projet in the projects selector the screen is not updated and you stay with the former elements wich are not always the one of the selected project.

this is not normal
List should be changed.
Could you give an exemple ?
you have an example in the screenshot.
The list is changed indeed but the file (fiche) underneath is not updated and has nothing to do with the selected project.
In the example I had opened the project's file "Plan lumière" on the lower window, then I chosed the "Réforme des mode de stationnement" with the project's selector.
The list above is then changed but the windows below remains on "Plan Lumière"
The list is changed
So it works as expected.

Yes, but it is an item you have the right to see 😉
It is designed this way as it allows you to search for items in the list, change project and so on, without loosing current view, where you may have ongoing change.
Is is exactly the same for filters, if you are displaying an item and change filter, you keep current item displayed even if it is not part of the new filtered list.
OK,
I understand this point of view and I take it into account.
Thanks,
Chris
