Have you looked at "Real work allocation" screen.

Or maybe you expect somthing like "Start Work" button (you'll find one on Ticket screen)

If you're thinking about something else, please describe it iso that is can possibly be added in the reoadmap..

The concept would be to have a popup window, or a hover window on a top layer, where a person would be able to choose what tasks/Incident ( or other ) is working on and has a clock counting the time dedicated to the task.

When finish, stops the clock and submits the dedicated effort under the estimated time.

This would enable at the end of the project to have estimated time, real time without forcing the users to submit the worked hours at the end of the tasks or day. IT would be automatically inserted into the system as a person is working on the task.

Does this functionality exists, or do you consider could be considered to the roadmap ?

unfortunatly no.... one of my objectives for the use of this application was to have a solution not only to plan the work, but also to actually track the effective hours dedicated to it.

But it's implementation would also impact the way the effort is managed in the program, as it accounts only for 1= day work, independent of the hours dedicated/planned for a specific work.

Could it be considered as a possibility, change the tracker of work, from days to hours ?

You can parameter whever you want to record work in hours rather than day.
Just look at Global parameters.
