[#495]

Hello Babynus,

I don't able to recalculate the planning since the 2.2.0 version. I have an user affected to this task with rigth to do this, but when he go to planning this message appear :
"you must select a project"

If I click on "calculate button" to recalculate all planning the project list is empty and message ask me to select a project.

The structure of project is :
Default project
|Prj1
|Prj2 and so one

The user in charge of planning is a resource affected to default project with rigth access to calculate, planning and affectation.

Thanks for your help

Thierry,

To be sure and because i'm testing your new software, I have tried to come back to old version (2.1.0) with old database and the project button work fine, I just update projector'ria login and after this operation the calculate button don't work.

I hope this information help you to reproduce issue, I can send you my database if you want

Hi Babynus,

I confirm this issue - that's the same I reported yesterday. It occurs even when "all projects" in project selector.

Hi,

first be sure to refresh your broser cache when testint from one version to the other (including when you reverse to old version).

Then, new message is normal : it is a restriction to avoid performance issue when dealing with many projects.
When user has visibility to all projects, and existing projects number is over value defined in maxProjectsToDisplay parameter (25 by default), then the user must select a project to limit scope when entering planning screen and lauching planning.

Hi Babynus,

just tested in your test enviroment. It is the same behaviour.

Then I selected project "Test 1" and started calculation, which led to following error (reproducable):
Error on finalizeMessageDisplay('planResultDiv') : Destination or is not a node or not a widget or lastOperation or lastOperationStatus is not a node

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 83 bytes) in /home/o101506/public_html/projectorria/test/model/persistence/Sql.php on line 85

It's a memory limit issue.
I'll fix it.

Hi,

I'd like to know if there is a workaround or if i can go back to the old version without problem.

Just change value in table parameter for line with

parameterCode=maxProjectsToDisplay

and change

parameterValue=25

to a value > max of projects in your database.

This should work.

Hello Babynus,

I have made the modification in database that remove the first message 🙂 , but when I want to calculate project the list of available project still empty

Any idea? do you think that my user configuration is bad, I'm trying in admin mode then I suppose I can do all 😀 ?

Thx
Thierry,

Hi,

Just upgraded to 2.2.2 and i still have to go around and modify in the database. It's still telling me "Please select one project".

Hi,

It's not planned to remove the limit.
It's here to avoid stressing the machine by admin user on environment with many projects.
The default limit in 25 projects.

This parameter will be updatable through GUI in V2.3 (see ticket #665).
