[#266]

For example, I have two activities ( A and B) and the dated is list as follow. A is the predecessor of B.

Activities A:
requested Validated
starte date 2011/11/01 2011/11/01
End date 2011/11/07 2011/11/07

Activities B:
requested Validated
start date 2011/11/08 2011/11/08
End date 2011/11/10 2011/11/10

The question is when Activities A change its Validated start date to 2011/11/04 and End date to 2011/11/10. The Activities B won't change automatically. As I expect, the Validated start date of Activities B should be changed automatically to 2011/11/11 and End date shoule be 2011/11/14.

No,
Requested and validated values are not automatically updated.
There are here to keep a trace of initial values.

Requested : what the requestor wanted (requestor always request for yesterday 🙂 )
Validated : the dates you committed on.

Then planned dates are updated depending on planning.

Planned evolution : propose to store planned date into validatred dates (kind of initial planning saving).

Regards.

Thanks for your answer. May I ask one more question? planned date is read only. How this value be calculate? In my project, planed date seldom appear. In many times, planned date didn't show up.

You must replan your project to calculate planned dates.
Use small "gantt" button on planning view.
