[#138]

Hi,
I try to install Projector v1.6 on free provider (free.fr) , during install , still blocked on this page : http://myspace.free.fr/Projectoria/view/main.php
and return this message : "incorrect value for 'Log file name', cannot write to such a file"
Here is the modified value : "../files/logs/proj_${date}.log"
doesn't work also with the default value.
I checked path .

Should i try to install v1.5 first ?

Thanks for any suggest.

Best regards.

Stéphan.

Hi,
no need to setup V1.5 first.
All should work correctly.

Chech the directory exists.
For instance, if you installed Proje'Or Ria in /home/proj, be sure that /home/proj/files/logs exists and your php server can write into it.

Hi,
I tried to install "projector ria" on an other server (Synoloy NAS) , install process work perfectly.
In fact, there is a problem with free.fr provider, i can't change any folder right , always still in 555 properties.
I ask myself if it is a real problem for installing "projector ria".

Thanks,
Regards.

Stéphan.

Hi,
Yes in fact 555 is not the good rights for the log folder.
Try and delete the log folder and re-create it manually, through ftp.
By default the rights will be 700 on this folder, and his is correct to write into it (I tried it on perso.free.fr and it works).

In fact, you must have extracted files to windows and transfered it to free via FTP.
As unzipping generally sets readonly properties to files and folders, you have also transferted this restriction throught ftp.
Remove "readonly" properties on the files before the transfer things will get better.
