Using v10.2.3, I notice we can get different results from two Planning reports which should give the same result.
I think the issue occurs only for months having both real and planned work.
Example for the current month (April) :
- monthly planning resource/project :
- total for resource "YP" = 19 d
- total on project = 706.06 d
- yearly planning resource/project (only looking at the month of April) :
- total for resource "YP" = 38.8 d
- total on project = 1124.77 d
Yes, there is difference.
Monthly view is a detail day by day.
So if on that dat there is real work, this value is taken in account, otherwise planned work is taken into account.
Yearly view is a global view, where same detail cannot be applied.
So displayed value = Real + Planned.
So if you did not recelculate the planning, this view is wrong, is duplicated some data where real work was entered differently from planned work.
