I got following error message after clicking the link for the new update in the windows notification.

Can you please show screenshot of the link you click ?
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce that case. The link came over the Windows notifier about new version is available. It seams that the notifier db doesn't log everything ( or at least i don't know how to find it because i have no experience in that case)
In the ProejQtOr logfiles is just written whats on the screenshot...
When I check the ProjeQtOr alerts then i just see a normal alert ( the time would at least match)

The problem appeared again. I was logged in and in bottom right corner the windows notification of a new version appeared. I clicked on it and the fault appeared again in the browser where i was logged on.

Which version are you using ?
V10.0.4 was in use at that time
Unfortunately i was not logged on the test environment 10.2.3
Both addresses are registered to show notification
