Hi,
In version 4.4.2 when trying to attach graphical images (.jpg and .png) the type show an error - "ERROR : An error occurred on 2014-11-07 at 12:01:47". Image actually uploaded and can be downloaded

Could you please provide error reported in log file ?

Sorted out with write permission changes for directory
