Hi,
We are facing the following.
We have upgrade our application form V5.3.3 to V5.4.4. The conversion was done correctly.
But, we have lost the configuration in ParametersGlobal Parameters --> Send emails.
When we fill the field server smtp and port smtp with your own parameters, we save the new parameters (We have the green message on top of screen "Parametres Sauvée", and when we refresh the web page, we lost the parameters for server smtp and port smtp.
The localhost seveur smtp is re writte al the time !
Any idea ?

Go to the parameters.php file and remove smtp parameters from this file.
This file should contain only db params and log params.
