We don't reproduce the issue.
Did you clear the cache of your browser?
if yes have you an issue in the console (f12) ?
 

In old interface, "quick filter" line is no longer displayed.

Not reproduced, works fine for us. 

Pay attention that filters may be hidden depending on space available.

In new interface, enabling "always display" in filters has no effect.

Well, in fact it work, during the session : if enabled, the filter is displayed even if value is empty
 

But these options are not preserved after disconnection.
This issue is fixed on V9.0.2

In fact I cleared caches before, got it working again by switching between 'details in colums' and 'details in tabs' display mode. After one switch, quick filter showed up again.
Maybe an artifact, think this topic can be closed.
