HI,
I just made an account to post a question having not found an existing answer, hopefully I will receive one. My concern is that upon creating my account I was sent a confirmation email containing my user name and my password in PLAIN TEXT. As an industry aimed technology I am very concerned that my password for the forum is stored in plain text. I'm using the program for educational purposes currently but this makes me very uncomfortable storing company information in this application.
What security measures are in place to maintain privacy?
Regards,
Hello,
Do you talk about Projeqtor forum or application ?
Because both password are not linked.
Hello,

I understand they are not the same, nor handled in the same way. In this case it is the forum password. But it concerns me that it should be disregarded as "just the forum".
Hi,
Website is powered by joomla, and passwords are not stored in plain text.
They are encrypted.
But possibly, they can be decrypted...
Joomla is a very commonly used Content Management Software, maybe not as secured as NSA, but possibly enough for a forum.
My only advise is to correct in the forum with a password different from any other you may use, and sure different from the one you use to connect to ProjeQtOr application. If this password is stollen, only access to the forum shoulmd be involved, what is not a major issue as it may not contain confidential data.
