[#173]

Hi,

I have a question and need your help urgently.
I got 11 projects and don't know if it's the same issue with 'The list of projects is truncated'

My current version is v1.5.5 (v1.6.0 is kind of buggy, I roll back to v1.5.5).
I created many projects w/o problem and never show the message before.
But yesterday, I changed one project's name (the project id is 8) and saved.
Today, I just found the object list has the following symptom: it shows "Sorry, an error occurred" in Chinese
project with id 1, 2, 8~11 disappear from the list. (ps. I still can find the projects with the id or name.)
project id 1 & 2 current status is done. other projects are ongoing.
I think dojo display got errors but don't know how to fix it. (other object list pages are fine)
I currently don't have plan to upgrade the system, please help and point out how I can fix this issue?
I sent the picture to support email address.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,
Selina

It seems that your new project name contains some special character that is against "Json" standard.
Some filter is used to avoid this kind of issue but it may not be complete in your case.
What you can do :
- go to the Database (with PHP My admin for instance)
- copy to name of the new project project and send it to me so that I can investigate
- change the name to standard ansi (for instance you can try "test")
- test again

Let me know if this solves your issue.
If not contact me agian, I wil try and help further.

Regards.
Babynus.

Hi,

I don't think the new project name contains special character.
The project name of id 2 was 'Fred's test project', but after I got this error message, I changed it to 'Fred test project', still happened.
And my new project name was 'EU TV module', then it was changed to 'ZEV-2000'.
Many projects in the list got 'xxx-xxxx' w/o display problem. (BTW, I changed it to 'test', still the same).

Please help.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,
Selina

BTW, I found the 'Fred's test project' is not changed to 'Fred test project' in planningelement table.
I manually changed it, but I checked right after 'clean the cookie/cache? & reopen the browser' that the display problem remains. But when I was writing you the message and checked again. The display problem disappeared. what happened??? I DON'T KNOW.....

Hi,
Can I know which files you modified?
I may upgrade the system later (need some time to check the new version) but I'd like to have this fixed first.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best Regards,
Selina
