- not remembering display from date (behaviour as before)

Yes, it does, but you must set in Global parameters screnn wether to display names or initiales for resources

- project recalculate running forever - looking like broken

Can you check you don't have hierarchic loop dependency (including parents dependency) : this was possible before V2.1, and not taken into account on planning calculation, but now planning celculation takes into account parents dependencies.

But what about ticket #451 and project recalc?

You must also check the "show resource" checkbox on to right of screen !

What did you select in Global Parameters : Names or Initials ?
If it is the second, just chck that initilas are set for the resources.

Hi.

I also have a problem in the planning. If i set a project to "Administrative" it doesn't display on planning (but the sub-projects) does.

I just tried it on the demo. Put ALL of the projects on "Administrative" and there's no project displayed on the planning.

That's normal.
It's a V2.1 evolution : administrative projects are not planned, and not displayed in planning.
