Hi,
I'm brand new on projeqtor.
Yet it's looks really interesting.
I have one question, my organisation has strong needs to track down project activities, still we have specific demands.
For instance, we woudl need :
- 2 typologies of projects (that would allow to distinguish high level projects from low level ones). The 2 typologies would be differenciated by specific columns types and low level projects would be child nodes of the high level ones.
- Getting the ability to create and format custom columns
- Getting the ability to create custom status to track down our activities (to match our organisation)
- Getting the ability to get automatic notifications to ressrouces hos get specific actions to fulfill
Sorry if I missed obvious pièces of information.
Best regards,
Pierre Martins

You can use "type of project" for this
- Getting the ability to create and format custom columns
This can be done with the screen customization plugin
- Getting the ability to create custom status to track down our activities (to match our organisation)
This is standard. hAve a look a t status (in parameters) and workflows.
- Getting the ability to get automatic notifications to ressrouces hos get specific actions to fulfill
This is possible in standard : see "automation"
Hi, Thank you for your first response.
This opens wide possiblities and the agility to adapt the solution leads me to other questions:
On of the issue we get is also to automatically notified the resources of the updates (descriptions or status uptaes) that were done one on the task they are working on.
So I have Two new questions:
- Is there a way to bind Projeqtor to the AD so that the list of resources would automatically be inherited from it ?
- Can we trigger automatic mail to warn the resources about updates on they tasks ? (even if the resrouces name has to be manually filled with mail @ somehow)
Best regards,
Pierre Martins

Yes, you can connect to AD with LDAP protocole,
No list of resources is not inherited from LDAP, users have to connect once to be known in projeqtor (LDAP is used only for authentication)
- Can we trigger automatic mail to warn the resources about updates on they tasks ? (even if the resrouces name has to be manually filled with mail @ somehow)
YES
