I'm a student in an Apprenticeship at a french company. We are looking at Projeqtor as project management tool, and as an internal project I am looking to develop a custom view for the reports that show a planning for a resource. But beacause of the migration from one version of Projeqtor to another we are afraid that if I modify the main code, some changes might be lost whenever we update to new versions. Therefore, I am looking to develop a plugin for Projeqtor that will custom the views as we want and that wont disapear when a new version of Projeqtor is deployed.

Has anyone tried to do something similar? Do you have any advice on how should I persue this project? Are there other options than to develop a plugin?
