Hi,
here is my config :
- Access to activities -reader (access to data)
- Access to view planning (access to form)
- No access to view activity (access to form)
But the plannig appears empty (no activities).

One shouldn't have access to view planning and be able to see activities independently from access to view activity?
Does it make sense (the view planning is very meaningful, the view activity for team members is not meaningful because they don't update activities).
thks.

If profile has no right to view Activity screen, he will not see any activity in the planning.

hi,
I dont't see why access to the view means access to the element "activity". It is not the case for milestones. Why is the behavior different?
thanks.

Because planning is mostly composed of activities...

Hi,
This issue occurs to me today.
I want to give access to the planning only (projects, activities, milestones, meetings, etc) so I setup as follow:
- Access to Planning screen
- No access to projects, activities, milestones, meetings

Planning appear empty. If I give access as read-only to activities, I can see the planning. When I click on a project, a milestone, or a meeting on the planning to have the details in the detail pane, I have the message "You don't have access to this item" which is exactly what I want. However, when I click on an activity, I see everything from the activity, but I don't want to be able to see the activities for this profile.
Can you make it possible to see the planning with "no access" to activities?

Thanks,

No, it is not possible on current version as access to planning is linked to acces to activities.

We'll have a look at design to see if this can be improved.
