[#7580]

HI,

We would like to use projeqtor without timesheets and imputations and then, pilot our projects by task completion.

However, we plan to keep capacity planning 🙂

Is it possible ?

I dont find the option to disable timesheets and imputations.

Regards,

Hello,

want to do some planning without having real work on the project?

For disable timesheets go on module management and disable module Time tracking.

Capacity planning without timesheets and input of real work ... is not capacity planning (in my opinion)

What you try to do is possible :
 - on global parameters, activate "manual progress of fixed duration activities"
 - then set all tasks to "fix duration" planning mode (you can set activity types to this mode so that all new ones will use it)
You'll then get a manual input of tasks.

Thank you for your reply.

Capacity planning is used to plan .... capacity :-). For us, it has nothing to do with tracking time spent on tasks.

In our case, we don't need to follow the real work. We use projeqtor to plan activities and projects that are executed by providers.

We also use it to manage projects by quality (risks, actions, decisions, questions and problems).

I will give a try with your suggestions.

Regards

Tracking real work done is mandatory for capacity planning.
Moreover, tracking left work, that may be different from assigned - real is the key to anticipation.

In our case, we don't need to follow the real work. We use projeqtor to plan activities and projects that are executed by providers.

Then manual progress should fit your needs as it was designed for this purpose.
