Hello,
I defined a project with several tasks, each task is assigned to a ressource, as a duration and predecessor.
Now I would like to evaluate the estimate time of delivery of my project so i look in the Gantt (icone planning) it seems the gantt does not take into account predecessor to set the appropriate start date for each task.
When I click on "calculate activities planning" I am not able to select My project. I type its name in the combo but calculation does not have effect. I do not know what I missed in the configuration. Does somebody help please?

I do not understand where I have to define the assigned work? Currently I have define the duration and the resource on each task but I understand it is not enough.
I do not want to boring to much with so question but if you could give me a link to a tutorial explaining the different steps to full fill in order to have project or ria calculating a planing it will be fine. Currently the tutorial I found just give the definition of the object.

In the tasks i finally define the "validated" start date,end date and duration instead of the requested and I got few results in planing calculation. Is it the good way to work?
What is the difference between Requested and Validated finaly from project or ria point of view?

No, you need to add assigned work. The tool will then plan left work. (use planning button)

Requested = wished by customer (sometimes look like wish list ot Santa Klaus).
Validated = agreed (contractual)
