[#7885]

Hello ,
I have to connect to a Jira system where there are stored all the issues to manage and to fix.
Which is the right translation of "Issue" into Projeqtor ? Is it the an activity where the type is Issue or something else ?
Is it possible to have a live connection with that kind of solution or at list to have the possibility to import data ?
Thanks

Hi,
Jira's tasks may be like projeqtor's tickets.
To connect Jira to projector, you can :
 - call projeqror API from Jira (needs some coding in jira to call the API)
 - export jira tasks to csv files that will be imported in projeqtor, possibly automatically (may nedd some coding to transform jira export format to projeqtor import format)
 - send mail in jira to a mailbox that will be configured in projeqtor to import tickets (no code required, but few information : title as name of ticket, and body of mail as description of ticket)

Thanks for reply,
it's a bit complex for my tech background but anyway they could be hints to follow.
Strange that a kind of connection is not standard . Jira is very popular and it's almost a standard on this kind of sector.

Yes, but ProjeQtOr already includes Jira features.
So better idea is to migrate to projeqtor and have an all-integrated tool rather than building interface with Jira.
Mantis is also a very popular tool, so why Jira and not Mantis.
And Bugzilla is also a good tool, and so is Gitlab, and GPLI, anc Trac, and many more...
This would require as many interfaces as existing ticketing tool.
And also why from Jira to ProjeQtOr and not the other way, or even bi-directionnal interface (very complex to do)
All this could book our whole team for many years...

And we also have requests to do the same with ERP (SAP, Dolibarr, Zoho, Cegid, Sage, Odoo)

Now the question is : who is ready to pay for these interfaces ?
